Not going to lie I did not hate this movie
however I found it extremely overrated and way too hyped up.
It’s basically the same as the first movie – same plot idea, same jokes (which were way less funny in the second movie), similar songs (which I like) but essentially it’s the same.

So to give you a quick rundown of the plot
– the college female singing group the Barden Bellas are riding high until
there’s a major public embarrassment with the character known as ‘Fat Amy’ in
which she humiliates herself in front of the president of the United States. As
a result, they then have to figure out how to work as group again and discover
their sound in order for them to win the big competition towards the end of the
movie. Sound similar? I think so.
If you liked the first instalment of Pitch
Perfect and enjoy a lighthearted comedy I’m sure you will enjoy it. I just
don’t think you will be wowed by as much as the first movie.
But here is for hoping that the third one,
which is coming out soon, is way more original and different to the previous
two films and not OVERRATED!!
